Raveena Tandon’s Sweet Answer to Whether Daughter Rasha Thadani Liked Media Attention Before Her Debut
Before making her big debut in Bollywood, Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, was already getting noticed by the media. People admired her confidence, charm, and dance skills in her debut film Azaad, which released on January 17, 2025. But way back in 2024, Raveena gave a heartwarming answer when someone asked if Rasha enjoyed all that early media attention.
Raveena’s Honest and Loving Reply
During promotions for her web series Karmma Calling in January 2024, Raveena was interviewed by Siddharth Kannan. He asked her if she was a “helicopter mom” (an overprotective parent) and whether Rasha liked being in the spotlight before her debut.
Raveena laughed and replied, “I’m not a helicopter, I’m a supersonic jet!” She then added something meaningful—saying her daughter would build her own path in the industry.
“She will stand on her own feet. She will make her own way, just like everyone else does,” Raveena shared with pride.
When it came to media attention, Raveena explained that Rasha has always had a creative side, but she still gives her kids the space to grow on their own.
“They have to make their own decisions and live with those choices—whether they’re right or wrong. I’m always here to guide them, but in the end, it’s their life,” she added.
Rasha’s Tattoo Moment Goes Viral
Recently, Rasha was back in the headlines after a video of her getting her first tattoo went viral. The video, posted by Kraayonz Tattoo Studio, shows her getting inked on the neck. Fans loved her cute reaction to the pain—but what stood out even more was how her mom, Raveena, carefully oversaw the whole process to make sure everything went perfectly.
Rasha’s Impressive Debut in Azaad
Rasha’s debut film Azaad was directed by Abhishek Kapoor, known for hits like Rock On, Kai Po Che, and Kedarnath. The film also launched Aaman Devgn, nephew of Ajay Devgn. One of the highlights of the movie was Rasha’s song “Uyi Amma,” which became a big hit. Azaad is currently available to stream on Netflix.
