Apoorva Mukhija Faces Backlash at Sabrina Carpenter’s Paris Concert
Rebel Kid, formerly known as YouTuber-turned-actor Apoorva Mukhija, finds herself back in the spotlight due to unfavorable circumstances. After the India’s Got Latent controversy, she is now facing criticism for her behavior at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris.
What Happened at the Concert?
Apoorva attended Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris and was seen dancing, singing along, and recording videos. However, her use of bright camera flashes reportedly irritated other attendees. A viral TikTok video, later shared on X (formerly Twitter), captured the entire scene.
In the video, a security guard is seen flashing a light at her, apparently asking her to return to her seat. Despite this, she continued recording and ignored the warnings.
Viral Video Sparks Criticism
The viral video’s caption in French translates to:
“POV: We were at the concert, and she was filming her own music video. The security guard asked her to sit down, but she didn’t care. Big flash in the face.”
Towards the end of the clip, Apoorva appears visibly annoyed and is heard saying,
“Main thappad mar doongi usko” (I will slap them).
Some online users also claimed that she yelled at fellow concertgoers when asked to lower her voice and stop using the flash. Others alleged that she almost hit someone before security intervened.

The incident quickly sparked outrage online, with people criticizing Apoorva’s behavior. Many felt she embarrassed India on an international stage.

This backlash comes just weeks after the India’s Got Latent controversy, where Apoorva, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Samay Raina were criticized for making an inappropriate remark on the show. Following the incident, multiple FIRs were filed, and she recently recorded her statement with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell.
Since then, she has kept a low profile on social media. However, this new controversy has once again put her in the spotlight—for all the wrong reasons.
