Ridhi Dogra on PM Narendra Modi Watching The Sabarmati Report: ‘I Was in Tears’

Ridhi Dogra Gets Emotional as PM Modi Watches The Sabarmati Report

Ridhi Dogra recently shared a heartfelt experience during an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla’s Behind The Success series. The popular TV actress, known for her work in Asur and other hit projects, opened up about her journey into films and her decision to take up The Sabarmati Report. One of the highlights of her interview was her emotional reaction to Prime Minister Narendra Modi watching the film alongside her.

Ridhi recalled, “We were in the Parliament auditorium, and the film had just started. PM Modi walked in and was sitting with us. I couldn’t decide whether to watch him or the film! But then, the national anthem started playing before the movie, and I was in tears.”

She shared that her co-stars Vikrant and Raashii, who were sitting beside her, asked if she was okay. Ridhi explained, “I don’t know what happened. I just felt a surge of emotions. I’m an intense person by nature. The national anthem being played before every film is something I’ve seen happen only in Bombay, not in Delhi. Maybe that has changed now, but back then, it was new for me.”

The moment was particularly meaningful for Ridhi because she has always dreamed of representing India. Seeing the national flag and realizing her place at that moment made her deeply emotional. “I felt like I was on my path, my journey. It was one of those moments I used to imagine for myself,” she shared.

Ridhi Dogra’s touching story highlights her passion for her craft and her love for the country, making her journey as an artist all the more inspiring. Fans can catch her candid emotions and thoughts in the full interview, where she discusses her career, her dreams, and what keeps her motivated.
