Ridhi Dogra Shares Fun Stories About Working with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan
Ridhi Dogra, who has made her mark in TV, OTT, and films, recently sat down with Pinkvilla for their Behind The Success segment. During the chat, she opened up about her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan in the blockbuster Jawan. Ridhi shared fun memories from the sets and admitted feeling starstruck by SRK.
Talking about her time on the set, Ridhi revealed that most of her scenes with Shah Rukh Khan involved her wearing prosthetics. She said, “I couldn’t even talk to him properly. Most of my scenes with him were of the older version of my character, so I was always in prosthetics. He has only seen me like that on set. I couldn’t even try to be charming—it was pointless.”
Ridhi also recalled a funny moment during filming. She shared how, while the team was explaining a scene to SRK, her immediate reaction caught him by surprise. He turned to look at her as if amused by her response.
She also narrated another humorous incident. “Once, Shah Rukh sir was standing with me and talking. I was in my mother’s getup, and he had to put a ring on Nayanthara’s finger. He asked me, ‘Which finger do I put the ring on?’ I replied, ‘You taught us that this finger’s vein goes straight to the heart.’ He gave me this look, like, ‘Does this girl ever talk normally?’”
Ridhi’s anecdotes show her fun interactions with the superstar and how special her experience on Jawan was. These behind-the-scenes stories add to the magic of the film!
