Two key figures associated with its success are Raghu Ram and Rannvijay Singha. However, Raghu Ram recently clarified a common misunderstanding: Rannvijay was not officially the winner of Roadies Season 1.​
In a recent interview, Raghu Ram explained that the first season of Roadies was not structured as a typical competition with a declared winner. He stated, “Season 1 of Roadies was not a competition as people perceive it. There was no official winner. Many people think Rannvijay won, but that’s also a myth. It wasn’t about crowning a champion. It was just a journey undertaken by seven contestants, where some people got eliminated in the process. The entire idea was to see who would reach the end.” ​
This insight reveals that the inaugural season focused more on the journey and experiences of the participants rather than on competition. Over the years, Roadies has evolved, introducing new formats and elements, but this clarification sheds light on the original concept of the show.​
