Actor Rohit Purohit, who plays Armaan Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently had a close call on set, narrowly avoiding a serious accident. He did, however, suffer an injury near his left eye and shared a photo of it with fans on social media.
Rohit posted the picture on his Instagram story, showing the injury on his left eyebrow, with some bleeding visible. It seems he applied turmeric or medicine to stop the bleeding. In the caption, Rohit wrote, “Aakh bach gaye, bas!” which means, “At least my eye got saved.”
Rohit currently stars as Armaan Poddar, a lawyer, in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, alongside Samridhii Shukla, who plays Abhira. The show also features Garvita Sadhwani as Ruhi and Romiit Raj as Rohit. Right now, the storyline focuses on a tragic situation: Armaan and Abhira’s baby has passed away, though Abhira doesn’t know yet. Meanwhile, Ruhi’s baby survives but she is in a coma. Rohit urges Armaan to adopt his child, explaining that Abhira’s life would be at risk if they try for another baby.
In addition to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Rohit has appeared in popular shows like Chandragupta Maurya, Arjun, Razia Sultan, Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii, and Udaariyaan. Personally, Rohit married actress Sheena Bajaj on January 22, 2019, after six years together. They celebrated their wedding in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
