Rupali Ganguly Responds to Alisha Parveen’s Claims After Her Exit from Anupamaa
The popular TV show Anupamaa has been making headlines recently due to the sudden exit of actress Alisha Parveen. Fans were shocked when Alisha revealed she was removed from the show without any prior notice. Following her ouster, Alisha accused lead actress Rupali Ganguly of being the reason behind her departure, claiming Rupali was insecure about her rising fame. Rupali has now spoken out about these allegations.
In an interview with ABP News, Rupali Ganguly denied all the claims made by Alisha. She stated that she has no influence over the decisions made by the show’s producer Rajan Shahi or the channel. Rupali emphasized that she has always maintained professionalism and has been dedicated to the show for the past five years.
Rupali addressed Alisha’s accusations, saying, “I don’t have control over anything, not even my costume choices in the show. I’ve always prioritized my work and never interfered with the makers’ decisions. It’s unfair to claim that I was responsible for her ousting.”
Alisha Parveen, in a statement to India Forums, shared that she had a professional bond with everyone on set, including Rupali. “I always greeted and spoke to everyone respectfully,” she said.
This isn’t the first time Rupali has faced such accusations. Former cast members Sudhanshu Pandey, Nidhi Shah, and Paras Kalnawat had previously hinted that Rupali played a role in their exits from Anupamaa.
Alisha Parveen joined the show to play Rahi, also known as Aadhya, the on-screen daughter of Rupali Ganguly’s character. After her exit, Adrija Roy replaced her and is now paired opposite Shivam Khajuria, who plays Prem. Viewers are looking forward to seeing Rahi and Prem’s budding love story unfold on screen.
While the drama continues off-screen, Anupamaa remains one of the most talked-about shows on Indian television.
