Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter, Esha Verma, has finally spoken out after the actress filed a ₹50 crore defamation suit against her. Esha shared a video on her Instagram, where she talked about staying private for a while and thanked her supporters.
On November 14, Esha posted a video on her Instagram story. In it, she said, “Hi everyone, it’s Esha here. I just want to say thank you for being so kind, supportive, and sweet. It really means a lot to me. I’m going to stay private for a little bit for my own well-being, and we’re moving forward from here.”
She continued, “Just a reminder, I’m in America, so things are a bit different here. We have more protections. I also want to say that the community we’re building is beautiful. I’ve been looking at everyone’s profiles, and there’s so much positive energy. But if anyone is negative, I will block you or remove you. Sending lots of love to everyone. Be proud of yourselves—you are amazing.”
Esha also shared another story where she said, “I may not respond much because I’ll be offline for a bit. But I’d still love to chat with you all. Just know I won’t talk about certain topics, so keep that in mind.”
For those unaware, Rupali Ganguly’s lawyer, Sana Raees Khan, issued a statement confirming that Rupali filed a ₹50 crore defamation suit against Esha. After this, Esha, along with Ashwin Verma and his second wife Sapna Verma’s daughter, deleted all social media posts related to Rupali and her family. Esha has also made her profile private following the legal action.
