In the recent Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan opened up about hosting the show despite receiving death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. On October 19, the second weekend episode aired, where Salman talked about the challenges he’s facing but stressed his commitment to his work.
While giving advice to contestant Shilpa Shirodkar, who was upset, Salman said he didn’t feel like coming to the show that night. He explained, “Nahi aana tha muje yaha par but yeh ek commitment hai. Isiliye mei yaha par aaya hu. (I didn’t want to come, but I have a commitment, and that’s why I’m here).”
Salman then asked Shilpa not to get affected by another contestant, Avinash Mishra’s behavior, as it’s part of the game. Addressing the accusations against Avinash, Salman talked about how harsh allegations can hurt families. He related this to his own experience, saying, “Mere upar bhi bohot saare lalchan lagaye gaye hai. I know what my parents go through. (Even I’ve been accused of many things, and I know what my parents go through).”
Later, when contestant Arfeen Khan argued back during a conversation, Salman expressed his frustration, saying, “Khuda kasam, what all I am going through in my life, and I still have to come and handle this.” He then walked off the set in frustration.
For those unaware, Salman’s security has been tightened after the murder of his close friend, Baba Siddique, by three attackers on October 12, 2024. Despite the threats, Salman continues to work on Bigg Boss 18 with increased security, including over 60 personnel on set and enhanced Y-plus security due to the escalating threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
