REPORT: Salman Khan May Replace Amitabh Bachchan as Host of Kaun Banega Crorepati
Amitabh Bachchan has been the face of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) for many years. The legendary actor has hosted several seasons of the popular quiz show and is loved by fans. But now, there’s a big update that fans should know—Salman Khan might be taking over as the host for the new season.
Salman Khan in Talks to Host KBC 17
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan is in advanced talks to become the new host of KBC 17. The decision isn’t final yet, but discussions are moving fast. Salman has already been a successful host of Bigg Boss for years, and now he may bring his charm to Kaun Banega Crorepati too.
A source told the publication that Salman is seen as a perfect replacement for Big B. “Like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman also has a strong connection with the audience,” the source said.
The report also mentioned that something similar had happened in the past when Shah Rukh Khan hosted a few seasons of the show. If all goes well, Salman could be the new face of KBC.
Why Is Amitabh Bachchan Stepping Back?
According to the report, Amitabh Bachchan might not return to host the next season due to personal reasons. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Salman Khan’s Busy Schedule
Meanwhile, Salman is also preparing to return as the host of Bigg Boss 19. Pinkvilla recently reported that the new season of Bigg Boss will be produced by Endemol Shine India, and Salman will shoot the promo by the end of June. The show is expected to premiere in late July.
What About KBC 17?
Registrations for Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 have already started. On April 4, a promo was released featuring Amitabh Bachchan, but there has been no official announcement confirming whether he will host the season or not.
Fans are now eagerly waiting to see whether Big B will continue or Salman Khan will step in with a fresh twist.
