In today’s episode of Shark Tank India 4 (March 6), the first pitch came from Good Monk, a brand that offers powder-based nutrition supplements. The founders, Amarpreet and Sahiba, asked for ₹1 crore for 1.67% equity. Their product, which can be mixed into food without changing its taste, grabbed the attention of the Sharks.

A Unique Nutrition Solution

The founders explained that their product can be added to any meal, making it easier for people of all ages—from kids to senior citizens—to get proper nutrition. To prove their point, they gave the Sharks two bowls of dal (lentils), one with their supplement and one without. Surprisingly, none of the Sharks could tell the difference!

Sharks React to the Pitch

Shark Azhar Iqubal was unsure about the product’s effectiveness. He compared it to taking supplements instead of eating nutritious food naturally.

However, Vineeta Singh, who is also a mother, saw the product’s potential. She shared her own experience, saying that her kids don’t like eating nuts, so she grinds and mixes them into rice. “This is a real problem in every household,” she said, appreciating the brand’s solution.

Vineeta Offers a Deal

Before making an offer, Vineeta pointed out some mistakes in the business. She suggested that the brand should get a celebrity mom as its ambassador and cut down on unnecessary marketing expenses.

She then made a conditional offer:

• ₹50 lakh for 1.25% equity
• ₹50 lakh as a loan at 1% interest for 3 years
• The founders must reduce marketing costs to 20% of sales and operate within (-5% to -10%) EBITDA in the next three months.

Aman Gupta’s Hilarious Reaction

The other Sharks decided not to invest. Aman Gupta joked about the problems in the business, saying, “I don’t want to be the monk who sells his Ferrari to invest in this.” He then admitted, “If Vineeta hadn’t made an offer, I would have.”

As the founders stepped out to discuss the deal, Aman jokingly told Vineeta, “Vineeta, you ruined my deal! I hate you.” 😂

When the pitchers returned, they accepted Vineeta’s deal, sealing another exciting moment on Shark Tank India 4!
