Big Investments in Season 4

Since its launch in December 2021, Shark Tank India has changed the way startups are seen in the country. It has given new businesses a platform to showcase their ideas and attract big investments. Season 4 continues this trend, introducing two new sharks—Kunal Bahl (Co-founder of Snapdeal) and Viraj Bahl (Founder of Veeba). They joined returning investors like Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, Ritesh Agarwal, and Azhar Iqubal.

Now, after nine weeks of the show, the total amount invested by the sharks has reached a massive ₹94.8 crore! Here’s how much each shark has contributed:

  • Aman Gupta (boAt Co-Founder & CMO) – ₹17.4 crore
  • Ritesh Agarwal (OYO Founder & CEO) – ₹16.3 crore
  • Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com Founder & Director) – ₹10.8 crore
  • Kunal Bahl (Snapdeal & Titan Capital Co-founder) – ₹10.2 crore
  • Peyush Bansal (Lenskart Co-Founder & CEO) – ₹10.1 crore
  • Namita Thapar (Emcure Pharmaceuticals Executive Director) – ₹9.8 crore
  • Vineeta Singh (Sugar Cosmetics Co-founder & CEO) – ₹9.3 crore

Other investors also made contributions:

  • Azhar Iqubal (Inshorts Co-founder) – ₹1 crore
  • Varun Dua (ACKO Founder) – ₹53.3 lakh
  • Viraj Bahl (Veeba Founder) – ₹45 lakh

Biggest Deals of Shark Tank India 4

Some startups secured massive investments, while others left without a deal. Here are some of the biggest deals of the season:

  • Culture Circle (Luxury fashion marketplace) – ₹3 crore for 3% equity (Vineeta Singh & Anupam Mittal)
  • NOOE (High-end lifestyle accessories) – ₹5 crore for a 51% stake (Peyush Bansal)
  • KIWI Kisan Window (Indian flavors brand) – ₹2.5 crore for 10% equity
  • Speed Kitchen (Cloud kitchen startup) – ₹2 crore for 6% equity
  • 7 Ring (Smart payment-enabled ring) – ₹75 lakh for 1.5% equity
  • Innergize (Mental health wearable) – ₹1 crore for 4.2% equity
  • Go Zero (Sugar-free ice cream) – ₹1 crore for 1.5% equity (Namita Thapar)
  • Aquapeya (Ready-to-drink beverage) – ₹70 lakh for 3% equity + 1% royalty

New Hosts This Season

This season also brought a change in the hosting team. Aashish Solanki and Sahiba Bali replaced Rahul Dua as the new hosts.
