Shatrugan Sinha’s Funny Comment Leaves Son-in-Law Zaheer Iqbal Saying, “I Thought This Was a Family Show!”
In the next episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show 2, Bollywood legend Shatrugan Sinha and his family will be the special guests. The episode promises laughter, family moments, and some hilarious surprises.
Who’s Joining Kapil This Week?
This week, Kapil Sharma will welcome Shatrugan Sinha, his wife Poonam Sinha, their daughter Sonakshi Sinha, and her husband Zaheer Iqbal to the show. The episode follows the recent hit featuring Navjot Singh Sidhu, his wife, Harbhajan Singh, and his wife.
Netflix India released a fun promo showing what’s in store. It starts with Kapil Sharma bringing Sonakshi and Zaheer to the stage, while Sunil Grover humorously “drives” Shatrugan and Poonam onto the set.
Sonakshi’s Marriage Tip
In the promo, Sonakshi jokes, “If anyone wants to get married, just come on Kapil’s show and start calling him ‘bhaiya’ (brother).” Archana Puran Singh agrees with her, laughing and nodding. Sonakshi then playfully introduces her husband, Zaheer, saying, “Bhaiya, meet my saiyyan (brother, meet my husband).”
Shatrugan’s Classic Style
As Shatrugan Sinha makes his entrance, he delivers his iconic dialogue, “Khamosh!” Once seated, he shares some advice he received from veteran actor Dharmendra. Dharmendra had told him, “In the film industry, many girls may swoon over you, but you should stick to one woman at a time.” Poonam laughs and adds cheekily, “At a time.” Hearing this, Zaheer jokes, “I thought this was a family episode—what’s happening here?”

Archana Puran Singh asks Poonam if Shatrugan has ever apologized to her after an argument. Poonam bursts into laughter and says, “Him? Say sorry? Oh my God! That would be the day!”
More Laughter and Fun
The episode will also feature Krushna Abhishek, dressed as veteran actor Jeetendra, along with Kiku Sharda, adding more entertainment. Kapil will ask Poonam to rate Shatrugan on various qualities, like patience. When she gives him just 2 out of 100 for patience, Shatrugan jokes, “I’ve been tolerating her for so many years—if that’s not patience, what is?”
