Sheezan Khan & Falaq Naazz Open Up on Troubled Sibling Relationship

Sheezan Khan and Falaq Naazz Open Up About Their Broken Bond with Sister Shafaq Naaz

Actors Sheezan Khan and Falaq Naazz have finally spoken about their troubled relationship with their real sister, Shafaq Naaz. In a new interview, they explained why they feel hurt and upset with her.

During Sheezan’s legal case, everything seemed fine between the siblings. But after that, their bond started to break again. In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Sheezan shared that he was very hurt because Shafaq didn’t visit their mother when she was in the hospital.

Sheezan and Falaq said their mother went through a very hard time and fell into deep depression. They had to care for her like a child. Sheezan revealed that his court case had triggered their mother’s depression. During that period, she even stopped taking her medicines, which made her condition worse.

They also shared that another reason for their mother’s sadness was missing Shafaq. When asked if Shafaq knew about their mother’s health, Sheezan and Falaq said the whole family was aware.

Sheezan said, “She (Shafaq) chose not to stay in touch with us.” Falaq added that their mother was heartbroken when she saw Shafaq’s statement in an interview, where Shafaq claimed she was the “neglected” child. This deeply hurt their mother because, according to Sheezan, a parent never picks favorites among their children.

Sheezan, who is known for his role in Ali Baba, said even if Shafaq didn’t want to talk to her siblings, she should have at least stayed close to their mother. He recalled that after Shafaq had knee surgery, their mother called her. Falaq added that their mother had been hospitalized for ten days due to her health issues.

Falaq also said she had tried to reach out to Shafaq when their mother was sick. Although Shafaq and their mother spoke, the conversation felt very formal and distant. Sheezan and Falaq believe that Shafaq wrongly felt she was always the “neglected” one.

Sheezan shared, “When mom was hospitalized, we called Shafaq, but she refused to get involved.” He added, “Fir toh thoda insaan nazron se utarta hai na (Then a person loses respect).” When asked if he had lost respect for her, Sheezan said, “Haan, gir gayi, definitely (Yes, definitely).”

Both Sheezan and Falaq expressed how painful it is that their mother, who struggled so much to raise them, now feels abandoned because Shafaq has distanced herself.
