Shilpa Shinde reveals shocking details about Manoj Santoshi’s treatment
Manoj Santoshi, known for writing Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, passed away in Hyderabad due to a liver condition. Reports say he died on March 23, but now Shilpa Shinde, who played Angoori in the show’s early episodes, has spoken out about his final days. She revealed that she was handling Manoj’s finances while he was battling cancer.
In a conversation with Zoom, Shilpa shared some shocking details. She said that Manoj wanted to live alone but was hopeful about his recovery. She recalled how she and others tried everything to help him after his diagnosis.
Shilpa said, “We did everything we could, and many things worked out, but I feel the doctors were careless. They knew he had no family, so they did not take his case seriously.”
Shilpa calls the hospital a ‘business’ that only cares about money
The Bigg Boss 11 winner accused the hospital of treating patients as business opportunities. She explained that she had to travel to Mumbai for two days due to work, and in that short time, the doctors became careless, thinking no one was watching over Manoj.
She said angrily, “I’ll say this clearly—hospitals are running a terrible business. They are just making money. They were even doing dialysis on a dead person!”
Shilpa directly blamed KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad and its doctors. She shared that while she was in Mumbai, she got a call saying an organ was arranged for Manoj.
Shilpa was handling Manoj’s payments
Shilpa revealed that she was managing Manoj’s medical expenses. She was ready to deposit money because liver transplants need to be done quickly. But the next morning, at exactly 6 AM, she got a shocking call: “Manoj ji has gone into a coma.” She was stunned and asked, “How?”
Shilpa said she had spoken to Manoj just a day before, and he had told her that he was feeling better. But when she reached the hospital, doctors said his kidney was now damaged due to his liver condition.
She further questioned the doctors, “How did you know exactly at 6 AM that he would go into a coma and need to be shifted to the ICU?”
Shilpa accuses doctors of faking treatment
Shilpa strongly criticized the hospital and doctors for their negligence. She said, “They were pretending to do dialysis to show me, but I could clearly see that he was already gone. This is nothing but negligence and theft, and I am the proof of it!”
