In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, the duo opened up about their first meeting before working on Barsatein. When asked if they knew each other before, Kushal Tandon said,

“No, we didn’t know each other at all. We met for the first time on the day of the mock shoot. It went well.”

Shivangi Joshi added that they were introduced by the team during the shoot. She shared,

“He was planning a trip to Phuket, Thailand, and I was also planning a trip. We ended up talking about it on set.”

Kushal explained further,

“We just met that one day. I was leaving for my training, and she was going on a family holiday. She was trying to go to Phuket too, but it was far. So I was telling her that she should visit Phuket—it’s nice.”

How Their Bond Started

Shivangi shared that their first conversation began over travel plans, and that’s how their off-screen bond started. Over time, their connection has grown, both as co-stars and friends.
