Bigg Boss 18: Shoaib Ibrahim Explains Why He Didn’t Join Salman Khan’s Show
Actor Shoaib Ibrahim, loved by many fans, recently shared why he chose not to join Bigg Boss 18. His name had been in the headlines as a possible contestant, but he ultimately decided to skip this season.
During a Q&A on Instagram, Shoaib explained his reason. He said, “I might be wrong, but I feel Bigg Boss is no longer about personality—it’s more about content.” He added, “Earlier, it was a show where personality mattered. Now, the more content you create, the more screen time you get. That’s how you go forward in the game.”
Shoaib also shared that he isn’t yet convinced about participating in the show. “As I’ve said before, I’m not convinced to do it now. But maybe in the future, if I feel convinced, I might consider it.”
He further expressed his thoughts, saying, “Now it feels like some contestants are overly favored or humiliated. It’s less about showing real personalities and more about creating content. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s how it seems to me.”
In the same Q&A, a fan asked when producer Boney Kapoor would cast him in a movie. For those who don’t know, Boney Kapoor had promised to cast Shoaib in a film during his guest appearance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. Shoaib replied, “I’m waiting for that too!”
On the work front, Shoaib was last seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. Though he hasn’t been on TV recently, he stays connected with his fans through his vlogs.
