Shrutika Arjun Eliminated from Bigg Boss 18 Ahead of Grand Finale
Just one week before the Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale, Shrutika Arjun was eliminated from the show. Her unexpected exit shocked not only her fans but also her fellow housemates. A day after her elimination, Shrutika was seen visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.
On January 11, Shrutika, along with her husband and son, visited the temple for Ganpati’s blessings. She looked elegant in a black and grey saree paired with a black collared blouse. While interacting with the paparazzi, she expressed disbelief about her eviction, saying she still couldn’t believe she was no longer in the Bigg Boss 18 house.
When asked about her favorite contestant, Shrutika said, “I want Chum to win because she is my best friend.” She also praised Vivian Dsena, calling him “a gentleman throughout the show.”
Details of the Nomination Task
Shrutika’s eviction stemmed from a nomination task based on time calculation. Contestants were divided into three teams:
- Team 1: Avinash, Eisha, and Vivian
- Team 2: Rajat, Shrutika, and Chaahat
- Team 3: Shilpa, Chum, and Karan Veer
The task required each team to sit inside a prop and calculate 13 minutes. Only the person in the front seat was allowed to keep track of the time. The other housemates could distract them while they completed the task.
During the task, Rajat, part of Team 2, violated a key rule by calculating the time from the back seat. This led Bigg Boss to directly nominate Rajat, Shrutika, and Chaahat for eviction.
Midweek Elimination
Because of this rule violation, Karan Veer, Shilpa, and Chum did not get to perform the task. Later, during a midweek elimination, the audience entered the house to decide the evicted contestant. Ultimately, Shrutika was eliminated.
Her journey in Bigg Boss 18 may have ended, but her fans continue to support her as she moves forward.
