Shweta Tiwari Reveals Why She Wanted a Son After Palak Tiwari

Shweta Tiwari and her daughter Palak Tiwari share a strong bond and are loved by fans for their close relationship. Shweta is also a mother to her son Reyansh, who was born in 2016. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla in 2020, Shweta revealed that she initially wanted another daughter after Palak. However, she later changed her mind, and she shared the reason behind it.

Why Did Shweta Wish for a Baby Boy?

Shweta recalled that she was pregnant when Palak was 16 years old. She shared a funny yet relatable incident about Palak’s love for makeup.

“On her 16th birthday, she went shopping and spent ₹1.8 lakh on makeup! Each eyeshadow cost ₹7,000 to ₹8,000,” Shweta revealed.

Defending herself, Palak responded, “To be fair, I really did my research.”

Shweta then recalled how she called her family and jokingly said, “I can’t afford this! I cannot have another daughter.” That was when she decided she wanted a son.

Palak Used to Call Shweta ‘Didi’

In the same interview, Palak shared a cute childhood memory. She revealed that sometimes she used to call Shweta ‘didi’ (elder sister) because the actress looked too young to be her mother!

Despite being mother and daughter, Shweta and Palak share a friendship-like bond. They often post fun reels and stylish pictures, leaving fans in awe of their beautiful relationship.

Palak’s Rising Career & Shweta’s Legacy

While Shweta has been a top actress for years, Palak is also making a name for herself in the entertainment world. She became a sensation after her song “Bijlee Bijlee” with Harrdy Sandhu became a massive hit. Later, she made her Bollywood debut in “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” and received appreciation for her performance.

Shweta, on the other hand, remains one of the most successful TV actresses. From Kasautii Zindagii Kay to Bigg Boss 4, Parvarrish, Begusarai, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, and Main Hoon Aparajita, she has ruled the screens for years.
