Actor Shweta Tiwari’s first marriage to Raja Chaudhary ended in 2007 after she filed a domestic‑violence case. The couple share a daughter, Palak Tiwari (born 2000), who has lived with Shweta since the split.

‘Yes, we stay in touch’

In a chat with Bombay Times, Raja was asked if he still has contact with his 24‑year‑old daughter.

“We stay in touch,” he said. “Palak calls whenever she finds time in her busy schedule, and I do the same. I’m very proud of her.”

Four years sober

Raja also spoke about his past struggle with alcohol:

“If I could change one thing, I would never have touched alcohol. It disturbed my life, and I didn’t handle situations the way I should have.”
He added that he has been sober for four years and thanked his family for standing by him.

Palak’s rising career

Palak first grabbed attention in the music video “Bijlee Bijlee” with Harrdy Sandhu, then appeared in Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She will next be seen opposite Sunny Singh in the horror‑comedy The Bhootnii, releasing May 1, 2025.
