Famous cricketer Sourav Ganguly is all set to return to television. According to reports, he will be hosting Bigg Boss Bangla and a new quiz reality show. Fans are excited to see him back on screen, but this time, not on the cricket field.

Big Deal with Star Jalsha

Sourav Ganguly has reportedly signed a four-year deal worth Rs 125 crore with Star Jalsha. He will host two major non-fiction shows — Bigg Boss Bangla and a brand-new quiz show (yet to be named).

Both shows are expected to go on air in July 2025, and their shooting will begin in early July. Bigg Boss Bangla will be the first to launch, bringing a fresh new energy to Bengali television.

Sourav Ganguly Shares His Excitement

While talking to India Times, Sourav said that television gives him a special way to connect with people. He shared:

“Television has always helped me connect with people in a unique way. I’m happy to start this new journey with the channel, where we’ll tell interesting real-life stories through these new shows.”

He also said:

“I’ve always believed that it’s important to connect with people beyond cricket. This new partnership gives me the chance to do that through exciting and inspiring content.”
