Is Salman Khan the ‘Most Misunderstood Person on the Planet’? Suniel Shetty Shares His Thoughts
Salman Khan is one of Bollywood’s biggest stars and shares close friendships with many actors, including Suniel Shetty. In a recent interview, Suniel Shetty praised Salman and said he is “the most misunderstood human being on the planet.”
In a chat with The Lallantop, the Border and Hera Pheri actor spoke warmly about his bond with Salman. He described him using the words “human being” and “being human,” showing how much he respects him.
Suniel said, “Salman is a different kind of person. I don’t meet him often, but there’s always a lot of love and respect between us.”
He also defended Salman’s recent movies, which some people called flops—even when they earned Rs 200 crore. Suniel pointed out that while some critics say these films failed, for much of the industry, those numbers are still a big success.
Suniel explained that sometimes even great actors choose the wrong scripts, but Salman always gives his heart to his work. He believes that when Salman finds the right story, it creates magic.
He added, “Even when his films don’t perform well, they still make Rs 200 crore. Just compare that to the box office numbers of other films this year—you’ll see Salman’s films still do better.”
On the work front, Suniel Shetty was last seen in Kesari Veer, a historical action movie directed by Prince Dhiman, co-starring Vivek Oberoi, Sooraj Pancholi, and Akanksha Sharma. He will next appear in Welcome to the Jungle, along with stars like Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, and Raveena Tandon.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan will be seen playing Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming war film. He will also star in another film based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash.
