In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sunil Kumar, known for his role in Stree 2, shared that he has been approached to join Bigg Boss 18. But is he actually joining the show? Let’s find out!
Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has become a big hit at the box office. The movie tells a folktale about a beheaded ghost, and Sunil Kumar, from Jammu, plays the role of ‘Sarkata’ in the film. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Sunil opened up about being contacted for the popular reality show Bigg Boss 18.
When asked if he was interested in doing movies or reality shows like Bigg Boss, Sunil said, “I recently got a call from Bigg Boss. They mentioned that it’s for the October season of the show.”
Sunil further explained, “I’m thinking about joining Bigg Boss, but since I work in the police force, getting time off can be a bit tricky. I need to request leave, but the sports officers in our department are very supportive. They help me get time off for movies, ads, or wrestling events, and they never say no to my leave requests.”
While Sunil is interested in joining the show, he couldn’t confirm his participation just yet. Besides Bigg Boss, he also talked about some of his upcoming projects.
For those who may not know, Sunil Kumar plays the villain in Stree 2. His character, Sarkata, is an evil spirit who abducts girls with a modern twist. To stop him, Stree returns in this sequel. The movie also features Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles, with special appearances by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia.
