Sunil Pal Kidnapping Case: Police File FIR Against Six Unidentified People
Famous comedian Sunil Pal recently made headlines after being kidnapped on December 2. His wife filed a missing complaint at the Santacruz Police Station, and though Sunil returned safely on December 4, the case has taken new turns.
The Santacruz police have now registered an FIR against six unidentified suspects for allegedly abducting Sunil and demanding ransom. According to reports, the kidnappers initially demanded ₹20 lakh but later settled for ₹10 lakh after negotiations.
The Incident
Sunil revealed that he was abducted and later released after paying the ransom. He shared that ₹7.5 lakh was transferred to the kidnappers, and they allowed him to leave at 6:30 PM the next day. “They dropped me on Meerut’s highway in the evening. It all happened within 24 hours. I was under stress, and my mind wasn’t working,” Sunil said.
The kidnappers reportedly gave him ₹20,000 to book a flight back to Mumbai. Addressing rumors, Sunil stated, “If this was a PR stunt, I would never have talked about the ransom payment.”
Investigation Update
Since Sunil was released in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the case has been transferred to the Meerut police for further investigation. The authorities are now working to identify the suspects and uncover more details about the incident.
