Supriya Shukla Recalls Harshad Chopda Calling Her After His Mother’s Passing
Actress Supriya Shukla recently shared heartfelt memories of her former co-star Harshad Chopda. In an interview, she spoke about their bond while working on Tere Liye and recalled the emotional moment when Harshad called her after his mother passed away.
Supriya and Harshad’s Special Bond
Supriya and Harshad became close while filming Tere Liye. Since they shared many scenes together, they developed a strong friendship. Harshad played the male lead, while Supriya portrayed the female lead’s mother.
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Supriya recalled their first scene together and how they quickly became friends. However, as time passed, they lost touch due to their busy schedules.
An Emotional Moment
Supriya shared a touching memory from when Harshad’s mother passed away. She said,
“When his mother passed away, he himself called me. I had a shoot that day, but I canceled it and went to the graveyard. I remember he is tall, and I am short, and he cried a lot. He just let it all out.”
She mentioned that Harshad is someone who takes time to open up but is very focused on his life. Since he needs a little push, she always encouraged him, which helped them build a strong bond. Supriya also called Tere Liye one of her favorite shows.
Harshad’s Dedication to Acting
Supriya praised Harshad for his dedication to his work. She revealed that he, along with actress Sriti Jha, always read their dialogues carefully and made necessary changes to improve their performances.
About Tere Liye
For those who don’t know, Tere Liye starred Harshad Chopda and Anupriya Kapoor as the lead pair. Though the show aired for only a short time (2010-2011), it became a fan favorite. Other actors like Shakti Arora, Neha Saxena, and Rajat Tokas also played important roles in the show.
