Surbhi’s Bigg Boss Promo with Salman Khan
During a fun segment on Pinkvilla’s show Behind the Success, Surbhi was shown an old photo of herself with Salman Khan. She revealed that the photo was from a promo shoot they did for Bigg Boss. At the time, the promo created a buzz that Surbhi might enter the Bigg Boss house. However, she clarified that it was just a promotional stunt or a “PR trick,” and she was never actually planning to join the show.
When asked if she would ever consider being a contestant on Bigg Boss, Surbhi simply said, “No.”
Why Surbhi Doesn’t Want to Do Bigg Boss
Surbhi explained that she doesn’t feel like she’s competitive enough for a show like Bigg Boss. “I used to be very competitive during my college days,” she said. “I took part in debates and theatre and even won national championships. But all I wanted was to perform and say my lines. That’s where my passion was.”
She went on to say that Bigg Boss would be very difficult for her because it’s not just about performing—it’s about surviving in a highly competitive and emotional environment. “I’m not someone who pushes myself too hard,” Surbhi added. “That’s just not who I am.”
Still, she didn’t completely shut the door on the idea and added, “Never say never.” She said she came to Mumbai to act, not to compete, and prefers focusing on her craft rather than getting into reality show drama.
A Quick Note on Bigg Boss
The 18th season of Bigg Boss ended in January 2025, and as always, it got people talking. Fans continue to wonder who might join the next season—but for now, it looks like Surbhi Jyoti won’t be one of them.
