Sushmita Sen’s Ex-Sister-in-Law Charu Asopa Reveals Shocking Rajasthan Move

Charu Asopa Says Moving to Rajasthan Was a Planned Decision; Rajeev Sen Knew About It

Charu Asopa, actress and Sushmita Sen’s ex-sister-in-law, recently confirmed that she has moved to her hometown, Bikaner in Rajasthan, along with her daughter Ziana. She also shared that her ex-husband Rajeev Sen was informed about the move and is aware of her decision.

🏠 A New Start in Rajasthan

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Charu shared that she left Mumbai over a month ago and is now living with her parents in Bikaner. Her decision to shift was not sudden or emotional — she said it was completely planned.

One big reason for moving was the high cost of living in Mumbai. She explained that managing monthly expenses between ₹1–1.5 lakh, including rent, was tough. Also, during her shoots in Naigaon (Mumbai), she didn’t want to leave her daughter alone with just a nanny.

“It used to get very difficult. Moving back home and starting my own work was a proper decision, not something I rushed into,” Charu said.

💬 What About Rajeev Sen?

Charu and Rajeev have been in the news due to their separation and divorce. When asked how Rajeev responded to her decision to move, she shared:

“He can come to visit Ziana in Bikaner anytime. Before I left Mumbai, I messaged him about my plans.”

👗 New Business & Online Reactions

Recently, a video of Charu selling clothes online went viral. While some people judged her for it, Charu remains confident. She said starting something new always comes with struggles, and she’s ready to face them.

“I’m doing everything on my own — taking orders, packing them, and arranging stock. This is just the beginning,” she said.

Charu also remembered her tough journey when she first came to Mumbai to become an actress. She said building a name wasn’t easy back then either, but her focus now is her daughter.

🎬 Future Plans

Charu mentioned she won’t be taking up daily soaps for now, but she is open to digital projects. She’s okay with traveling if needed, as Ziana can now stay with her grandparents instead of a nanny.

“I’m planning to buy a house here in Bikaner. For now, Ziana and I are staying with my parents. Tomorrow, I’ll be going back to Mumbai to collect all my stuff,” she said.

Charu is stepping into a new chapter with confidence, focusing on both her daughter and her own work journey.
