Asit Modi Talks About Dayaben’s Return
In an interview with ETimes TV, Asit Modi addressed the ongoing rumors. He said,
“Today, even we are missing Daya bhabhi. If the same Daya bhabhi (Disha Vakani) returns, we will be very happy. But if a new actress plays the role, we will make sure to keep the essence of the character alive.”
He also revealed that his wife, just like the fans, is eagerly waiting for Dayaben’s return. Giving a hopeful update, he said,
“Everyone has waited for so long, so just a little more patience. Daya bhabhi will be back very soon. I miss her a lot, and we will bring her back soon.”
The Show’s Recent Success
Asit Modi also expressed happiness about the recent rise in the show’s TRP ratings. The show’s popularity increased after the wedding track of Tapu and Sonu, making it one of the top 2 shows on TV.
