The Traitors’ Sufi Motiwala Spills Karan Kundrra Eviction Secrets | Exclusive

The Traitors EXCLUSIVE: Sufi Motiwala Shares Big SPOILER and What Really Happened During Karan Kundrra’s Eviction

In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, social media star and fashion critic Sufi Motiwala opened up about his time on The Traitors. He talked about his unexpected journey, behind-the-scenes drama during Karan Kundrra’s eviction, and how his rivalry with Apoorva Mukhija turned into a surprising friendship.

Sufi Motiwala Drops a Major Spoiler

Sufi gave fans a big hint about what’s coming up on The Traitors. He said that just like the shocking evictions of Raj Kundra and Karan Kundrra, even more unexpected eliminations are on the way.

“Spoiler alert, you’re not ready for episode 5 and 6,” Sufi teased. “Those eliminations will blow your mind. One contestant even gets a funeral scene—it’s either in episode 5, 6, or 8.”

What Really Happened During Karan Kundrra’s Eviction

Talking about Karan Kundrra’s early exit, Sufi said Karan didn’t deserve to go. He believed Karan was misunderstood and didn’t get a fair chance to explain himself.

“There was a technical issue during his eviction,” Sufi shared. “Because of that, Karan couldn’t speak properly and didn’t get to defend himself. It was really unfair.”

From Rivals to Friends: Sufi and Apoorva’s Journey

Sufi admitted he wasn’t prepared for the show at all. He hadn’t seen the format before and was shocked when he got selected. Things got real very fast for him—especially when Apoorva Mukhija said in front of everyone, including Karan Johar, that she didn’t like him.

At first, this made Sufi doubt himself. But over time, he and Apoorva grew close.

“We both had our struggles, and that brought us together,” Sufi said. “We decided to support each other.”

Sufi also shared that being on the show was intense. All the contestants stayed in a big palace and were under constant pressure as two people got evicted every day.

Were Sufi and Apoorva Looked Down on for Being Influencers?

Some people wondered if creators like Sufi and Apoorva were treated unfairly, but Sufi said that wasn’t true.

He mentioned that he and Raftaar had a good bond, even if they argued sometimes. Raftaar supported both him and Apoorva. Sufi also said Karan Kundrra was kind and helpful and nobody treated them differently.

When asked about bad behavior in the game, Sufi said:

“No one played dirty, but a few people were lazy.”

He said the most active players were Apoorva, Raftaar, Uorfi Javed, Purab Jha, Elnaaz Norouzi, Janvee Gaurr, and himself. But others like Ashish Vidyarthi, Anshula Kapoor, and Nikita Luther didn’t seem as involved.

No Bond With Uorfi Javed

Talking about his relationship with Uorfi Javed, Sufi kept it honest:

“We didn’t have a bond before the show, and we didn’t have one after either.”

He said they didn’t connect, and that was okay. He ended by praising Karan Johar, calling him a great mentor on the show.

The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, premiered on June 12 and is already full of twists, drama, and surprises.
