Actor Dayanand Shetty, best known for his role as Daya in CID, participated in the fifth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. It may surprise some fans to know that Shetty took on daring stunts in this popular reality show. Let’s look back at one of his memorable moments.
The Electric Shock Stunt
In one of the challenges, Dayanand Shetty had to perform a stunt involving electric shocks. He completed the task without screaming, surprising everyone. When he finished, host Rohit Shetty and the other contestants praised his courage. Dayanand, in his usual calm style, replied, “I talk less, so I scream less. That’s why I didn’t shout, but I was cursing in my mind.”
Water Stunt Challenge
In another task, Dayanand faced a water stunt. He had an aquarium placed on his head with a pipe for breathing. He had to open a screw on the aquarium, which also had an eel inside, while transferring crabs from one box to another. He successfully moved the crabs but started panicking due to claustrophobia and suffocation, eventually giving up.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 Contestants
Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 also featured celebrities like Rajneesh Duggal, Mahhi Vij, Kushal Tandon, Ranvir Shorey, Gauahar Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary, and Debina Bonnerjee. Rajneesh Duggal was the winner of the season.
