When Rohit Shetty Praised Samay Raina on Ranveer Allahbadia’s Podcast – A Throwback Moment

During his conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Rohit Shetty spoke about Samay Raina’s way of speaking and praised his dialogue delivery. He said,
“I like the way he speaks. Samay has a style, which we call dialogue delivery. He has a particular way of speaking.”
Rohit also appreciated Samay’s comic timing, calling it “perfect.” He added, “His style is different.” When asked if he would cast Samay in one of his films, Rohit laughed and said,
“I like that guy. He has a sense of comedy and a way of speaking. That’s what works for him.”
India’s Got Latent Controversy
For those who don’t know, Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, featured content creators Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Mukhija, and Jasprit Singh as guests in a controversial episode. The show landed in trouble after Ranveer Allahbadia asked a contestant a highly inappropriate question:
“Would you rather watch your parents have sx every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?”*
This shocking question left Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija speechless. The episode sparked massive outrage, leading to FIRs against the content creators.
Legal Action and Celebrity Reactions
Following the controversy, Maharashtra’s Cyber Cell took action, and all content creators except Samay Raina recorded their statements. Many celebrities have reacted to this issue—while some defended the YouTubers, others strongly criticized them.
