Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah often makes news with rumors of cast members leaving the show. Recently, Sharad Sankla, who plays Abdul, dismissed such rumors. Now, Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays Aatmaram Bhide, has also stepped up to deny reports that he is quitting. He addressed these false claims in a video on Instagram, where he also spoke about the misuse of social media.
In the video, Mandar started by wishing his fans a happy Janmashtami. He shared that his wife had informed him about a viral video falsely claiming he was leaving the show. He also mentioned the misleading thumbnail of the video that wrongly stated, “Goli has been removed, today I will reveal the whole truth about the TMKOC set, Daya Bhabhi will not return, and I will also quit the show.”
Expressing his disappointment, Mandar said, “I am very surprised and saddened to see how people misuse social media platforms. The image you see here was taken when I went live to talk to everyone after the show completed 16 years. They captured this image and used it as a misleading thumbnail.”
In his caption, Mandar urged fans to ignore such rumors and not spread them. He reassured viewers that he is still dedicated to entertaining them, just as he has been since 2008. He emphasized that his main reason for sharing the video was to tell the truth. He ended the message by thanking his fans for their continued support and love.
