Shailesh Lodha, who played the title character for 14 years, also attended and shared a light-hearted piece of advice for the bride.
Shailesh said, “A lot of good things have already happened in her life. What more could she ask for?” He called Disha a wonderful person and joked about her excitement for the big day. Wishing her happiness in her married life, he playfully added, “I hope she stays happy and doesn’t say ‘Hey Maa Mataji’ at home!” This was a reference to Dayaben’s famous catchphrase in the show, which is still popular in memes today.

Disha Vakani left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2017 due to her pregnancy, and Shailesh Lodha exited in 2022 after issues with the producer, Asit Kumarr Modi. Shailesh even took legal action against the show for unpaid dues.
