Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Fame Gurucharan Singh Hospitalized: ‘My Condition Got Worse’
Gurucharan Singh, who is best known for playing Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been hospitalized. On January 7, the actor shared an update about his health from the hospital with his fans through a video on his Instagram.
In the video, Gurucharan Singh revealed that he is unwell and resting in the hospital. He began the video by saying, “Haalat bohot zaada kharab ho gayi hai” (My condition has gotten worse). From his hospital bed, he gave a glimpse of the room, mentioning that his blood tests had been done, but he didn’t share the exact reason for his hospitalization.
He also wished his fans a happy Gurpurab and thanked God for giving him a second chance at life. He expressed his gratitude in the caption, writing, “DHAN DHAN SAHEB SIRI GURU GOBIND SINGH SAHEB MAHARAJ JI DE GURPURAB DIYA LAKH LAKH CRORE CRORE WADHAIYA Ji” (Wishing you all a blessed Gurpurab). He added that on this special day, Guru Sahebji gave him a new life, and he thanked the Guru Sahebji infinitely for this gift.
As the video continued, he showed his hand where a cannula was placed. Gurucharan was wearing a yellow and blue shirt, wrapped in a shawl as he rested in the hospital.
Gurucharan Singh is known for his role as Roshan in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He had been a part of the show until 2012, returned in 2013 due to the fans’ request, and finally left in 2020. Balwinder Singh Suri replaced him in the role. Gurucharan remains in touch with his co-star Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal.
Fans and well-wishers have been sending him positive thoughts for a speedy recovery. We hope to see him back in good health soon.
