Vivian Dsena on Why People Think He’s Arrogant
Vivian Dsena is one of television’s most loved actors, best known for playing RK in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Recently, in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla’s Behind The Success podcast, Vivian opened up about why people often think he is arrogant.
Why People Have This Misconception
Vivian believes that people judge him based on the characters he plays on TV. Most of his roles, like RK, have been of an “angry young man”, and this makes people assume that he is the same in real life.
Talking about this, Vivian said, “I am someone who is lost in my own world. So, people used to think, ‘Oh, he has a lot of attitude. He must think too highly of himself.’ That’s the perception.”
Vivian’s Reserved Nature
He further explained that he has never been someone who socializes much or connects with people personally. He has always been strictly professional when it comes to work. He shared, “I have always been focused on my work. If I’m on set, my priority is my job, and nothing else.”
He is the Opposite of His On-Screen Characters
Vivian also mentioned that because he has played many intense and angry characters, people assume that’s how he is in real life too. “Most of my roles have been like this, so people think I must be the same in real life. That I must talk like RK even off-screen. But I have always been the complete opposite of my characters. The only common thing in all my roles has been anger.”
What’s Next for Vivian Dsena?
The Bigg Boss 18 star also shared that he has always been very picky about his roles, which is why he hasn’t done too many projects. However, now that he is back in Mumbai, he has some exciting projects coming up.
