World Daughters Day: How Kapil Sharma’s Daughter Anayra Helped Him Improve His English
Kapil Sharma, the famous comedian, shares how his daughter Anayra helped him develop a skill that even schools couldn’t teach him.
Kapil Sharma is a proud father, and his three-year-old daughter, Anayra, means the world to him. When Anayra was just three months old, the pandemic started, and Kapil made sure to spend as much time as possible with her. But did you know that his little daughter helped him improve his English? Let’s find out more about it on this special World Daughters Day!
In an interview with ETimes, Kapil shared that Anayra helped him get better at English. He said, “Anayra did what no school could do – she improved my English! What universities and colleges couldn’t teach me, my daughter managed to.” Not just that, Anayra also helped Kapil fix his sleep schedule.
Kapil also mentioned that Anayra is a big fan of singer Ed Sheeran. When Ed Sheeran appeared on Kapil’s show, Anayra sang “Shape Of You” and was super excited to meet him. Kapil, who now hosts “The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2,” shared that his kids always inspire him to work hard.
He added, “I want to do good work so my kids know that their papa wasn’t just doing silly things.” When asked if Anayra knows how famous her dad is, Kapil said, “She knows who I am because her teachers often ask if she is Kapil Sharma’s daughter. She thinks I’m a hero. One day, she asked me, ‘Papa, why do you work?’ and I said, ‘To earn money and buy you dresses.’ Another time, when I came home early, Anayra asked, ‘Did you earn money today?'”
For work, Kapil Sharma is back with the second season of “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” which started on September 21st. The first guests were the team of the movie “Jigra,” featuring Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, director Vasan Bala, and producer Karan Johar. Karan and Alia talked about their bond, and Karan even shared how he thinks of Alia as his own daughter.
