As 2024 comes to a close, Pinkvilla conducted a poll asking readers to choose the TV show that entertained them the most this year. The poll included popular shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Jhanak starring Hiba Nawab, and Udne Ki Aasha starring Kanwar Dhillon. The results are now in, and here’s how the shows stacked up.
According to the poll, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, starring Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit, was the winner, receiving the most votes (44%). The show has been a fan favorite in 2024, with its engaging storylines and constant twists. It has regularly ranked among the top 5 shows on the TRP chart. The show, which first premiered on January 12, 2009, is now focusing on the fourth generation of characters, including Abhira and Armaan, whose marriage faces challenges after Armaan hides the truth about their baby.
Following closely in second place is Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which received 36% of the votes. Anupamaa earned 6% of the votes, placing third. Udne Ki Aasha got 9% of the votes, and Jhanak, the show led by Hiba Nawab, came last with 7%.
