Aashay Mishra addressed these rumors, stating, “There’s nothing like that; we are just good friends.” He explained that they share a good bond, have common interests, and enjoy spending time together, but there’s no romantic involvement. Pranali Rathod hasn’t commented on these rumors yet.​
The two actors became close while working on the show Durga, where Pranali played Durga and Aashay played Anurag. Their on-screen chemistry was well-received, and even after the show ended in January 2025, they have remained good friends.​
Previously, there were rumors about Pranali dating her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Harshad Chopda. However, neither confirmed this, and Pranali later deleted all photos with Harshad from her social media.​
