Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, December 29: Why Did Armaan Ask Vidya to Apologize to Abhir?
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan promises Abhira that Vidya will apologize to Abhir. Here’s what happened:
Armaan tells Abhira about their conversation from the previous night and says that she has started trusting him. He asks for a chance, but Abhira doesn’t respond. Later, Abhira sneaks out of Armaan’s room to hide from everyone. Vidya is looking for Kiara, and Abhira reflects on her closeness to Armaan.
Suddenly, they hear Abhir’s voice, and they see him scolding Kiara and asking her to leave his room. Vidya arrives, and when she sees Kiara, she slaps Abhir. She accuses Abhir of spiking their drinks and says that he was trying to get close to Charu. Vidya further accuses Abhir of manipulating Kiara and Charu to take revenge on Armaan.
Abhira gets upset and tells Vidya not to make such serious allegations without proof. Vidya refuses to listen and continues blaming Abhir. Abhir, feeling angry, demands that Kiara tell the truth. Vidya pushes Abhir away from Kiara and calls him a “loafer.” Abhira, frustrated, tells Vidya not to accuse Abhir without any evidence and asks for the truth from Kiara and Abhir.
Armaan remembers how Kiara had been interested in Abhir and tells Vidya not to blame him. He also asks Kiara to confess the truth. Just then, Abhir’s fans arrive and start recording the family. Armaan snatches their phones and deletes the pictures. Abhira scolds them, and Armaan explains that he would do anything for his family. The Poddar family leaves with Kiara.
Abhir walks angrily to his room, feeling frustrated. The Poddar family asks Kiara to reveal the truth, and she starts crying. Armaan tells everyone to give Kiara some time. Manish gets angry and asks Abhir to explain what happened. Abhir admits that he spiked the drinks, which shocks the Goenka family. Manish grabs Abhir by the collar, demanding to know what happened with Kiara.
Armaan tells Kaveri that they cannot blame Abhir unless Kiara reveals the truth. Kaveri, upset, suggests that Armaan should part ways with Abhira. She says bad things about the Goenka family, making Ruhi stand up for her family and Abhir.
Abhira decides to speak to Abhir to get the truth. They meet Armaan, who agrees that they cannot blame Abhir or Kiara without knowing everything. Abhira tells Armaan that she doesn’t believe Abhir would hurt Kiara, and Armaan agrees. She mentions that even Vidya scolded Abhir, and Armaan promises that if Abhir is innocent, Vidya will apologize.
Armaan assures Abhira that he will protect his family no matter what. Abhira, still unsure, asks Armaan for more time to think. Kiara finally confesses the truth, telling the Poddar family that she went to Abhir’s room to get a concert ticket. She explains that Abhir was asleep, and she collapsed before leaving his room.
Abhira and Armaan overhear Kiara’s confession. Kaveri gets angry and slaps Kiara, and Manish is also upset. Vidya regrets blaming Abhir, and Armaan tells her to apologize to him. The episode ends with Vidya preparing to apologize.
