Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update (Feb 22): Armaan Finds Out About His Biological Mother
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira finally tells Armaan the truth about his real mother, Shivani, leaving him shocked and emotional.
Abhira Learns the Truth
The episode begins with Abhira discovering that RK’s mother, Shivani, is actually Armaan’s biological mother. Armaan notices that Abhira looks disturbed and asks her what’s wrong. Instead of answering, she hugs him tightly.
Meanwhile, RK rushes to the doctor after Shivani suffers a panic attack. When she wakes up, she calls out for her son. RK insists that he is her son, but Shivani refuses to accept it, leaving him heartbroken.
Armaan’s Emotional Breakdown
Later, Abhira tells Armaan that his biological mother is alive. Armaan is shocked and demands to know how she found out. Abhira lies, saying she learned the truth while looking for Shivani. She decides to hide Kaveri’s involvement, fearing that it could break the Poddar family apart.
Armaan is devastated as he realizes that he unknowingly performed rituals for his real mother, without knowing that Shivani was actually his mother.
Tension at the Goenka House
At the Goenka house, Kiara and Abhir try to enter, but the family refuses to let them in. Manish scolds Abhir, saying he has brought shame to the family. However, Swarna stops him from hitting Abhir. After much tension, Surekha and Swarna finally invite Abhir and Kiara inside.
RK Feels Insecure
Back at the hospital, Armaan struggles to face Shivani, despite Abhira urging him to meet her. Meanwhile, RK watches over Shivani and asks if she remembers everything now. At that moment, Shivani realizes the truth—Armaan is her real son.
RK, feeling jealous and insecure, worries that Armaan will take everything from him. Shivani reassures RK that he will always be important to her, but he still feels uneasy.
Kiara’s Excitement & Armaan’s Hesitation
Meanwhile, Kiara and Abhir perform a ritual together. Excited, Kiara insists on taking a picture and happily calls herself “Mrs. Abhir Kiara Sharma”, leaving Abhir in shock.
On the other hand, Abhira tries once again to convince Armaan to meet Shivani, but he refuses. She reminds him that Shivani has been waiting for this moment her entire life and asks him not to run away from the truth.
At the same time, Kaveri informs Vidya that Shivani has escaped from the retreat. Vidya panics, fearing that Shivani will take Madhav and Armaan away from them. Kaveri assures her that they cannot let the truth come out and promises to keep Shivani and Madhav apart.
The episode ends on this tense note.
