Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, Jan 24: Abhira and Armaan Clash Over Alimony
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, tensions rise as Abhira and Armaan confront each other about alimony demands.
Abhira’s Struggle
The episode begins with Abhira cleaning the table. Swarna advises her to reconcile with Armaan if she truly loves him, as both are hurting from the separation. Swarna notices a gift Abhira has prepared for Armaan. However, Abhira, still upset, says Armaan ended everything between them, and she can’t forget what he did.
RK arrives at Abhira’s house with a case file for their client. Abhira lashes out at him for his unprofessional behavior, but RK jokes about being her boss and suggests she shouldn’t stay angry. As Swarna leaves to get tea, RK secretly takes Armaan’s address from the servant and notices the gift Abhira prepared. He decides to teach Armaan a lesson.
The Wedding Video Mishap
At the Poddar house, the family gathers to watch a movie. While Krish sets up the projector, Abhira and Armaan’s wedding video accidentally plays. Everyone is shocked. Vidya asks Krish to delete it, but Manisha says it’s Armaan’s decision, not hers.
Meanwhile, a servant delivers Abhira’s gift to Armaan. When Armaan opens it, he finds slippers inside along with a note stating that Abhira wants alimony from him. The family is furious, but Ruhi supports Abhira, reminding everyone of a past incident involving Kaveri and B Nanu.
Armaan angrily decides to arrange for Abhira’s alimony and leaves.
Memories and Misunderstandings
Later, Abhira visits Armaan’s favorite spot and gazes at the stars, recalling the time she gifted him a telescope for star watching. At the same time, Abhir and Charu meet at a café. Abhir promises to convince their families about their relationship and even Armaan. During their conversation, Charu admits her feelings for Abhir, making him excited.
When Abhira returns home, she notices a car with a pink heart and a message saying, “Gift for my ex-wife Abhira.” She tears the heart and finds Armaan inside the car. Armaan accuses Abhira of stooping low by sending the slipper gift.
The Truth Unfolds
Abhira angrily denies knowing about the slippers and says Armaan never tried to understand her or her family’s struggles. She reminds him about her brother’s situation. Both go inside to confront Abhir, who denies sending the gift. The Goenka family is shocked when the servant reveals that RK had taken Armaan’s address.
Abhira then receives a voice note from RK, where he mocks her, saying she can now demand alimony from Armaan, leaving his family begging on the streets. The episode ends on this dramatic note.
