Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, October 14: Manoj Makes a Shocking Decision After Kaveri Gives Abhira His Cabin
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, tensions rise after Kaveri gives the new office cabin to Abhira, which upsets Manoj and his family. The episode starts with Manisha expressing her frustration towards Kaveri. She feels that Kaveri always ignores her own son, Manoj, and his achievements. Manisha is especially upset because Manoj won a case recently, but Kaveri still decided to give the cabin to Abhira instead. She accuses Kaveri of always favoring Sanjay and now Abhira over her own sons.
Abhira overhears this conversation and suggests that Manoj should take the cabin instead, saying she’s happy with her own desk. However, Manoj, feeling insulted, refuses to accept what he sees as charity and storms off. Others follow him, leaving Manisha crying.
Ruhi, trying to comfort Manisha, hands her Manoj’s nameplate. She tells Manisha to look at it and remember that today, by supporting Abhira, she has taken away their happiness. Ruhi also accuses Abhira of knowing that Manoj was supposed to get the cabin and purposely interfering by telling Kaveri about her own achievements.
Armaan and Abhira Argue Over the Cabin
Meanwhile, Armaan confronts Abhira and accuses her of being selfish for taking his uncle Manoj’s cabin. He believes she knew everything in advance but still chose to accept the cabin. Hurt by his accusations, Abhira stands her ground, saying she won’t tolerate his insults anymore.
At home, Manoj is furious and turns to alcohol, angrily throwing things around. Manisha tries to calm him down, but he feels invisible, upset that his mother never acknowledges his efforts. Their children, Kiara and Aryan, witness this outburst. Aryan angrily calls Abhira selfish. Vidya, trying to protect the children, sends them away and brings a bowl of curd for Manisha to feed Manoj.
Vidya then comforts Manisha, telling her that she always knew Abhira would eventually try to take everything from their family. This is why Vidya never supported her. She embraces Manisha as they both worry about what will happen next.
Armaan Apologizes to Abhira
Later, Abhira returns home and reflects on how she always tries to do the right thing but ends up hurting her family. As she sits to work, Armaan comes in and apologizes for his behavior. He gives her a shawl that once belonged to Akshara, explaining that he found it after returning from Mussorie and forgot to return it. Abhira forgives him, and they share a sweet moment, expressing their love for each other.
The next morning, Armaan urges Abhira to get ready for the Dandiya event. Abhira, struggling with gum stuck in her hair, cries, but Armaan helps her out. At the event, Abhira and Armaan compliment Kaveri.
Meanwhile, Manisha advises Manoj not to make any rash decisions, but Manoj feels he has no choice left. In the final moments of the episode, Manoj meets a man holding a knife, leaving the viewers on edge as the episode ends.
