Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, November 16: Ruhi Wakes Up and Takes the Baby from Abhira
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira and Armaan are preparing for their baby’s naming ceremony. Meanwhile, Ruhi regains consciousness and takes the baby away from Abhira.
The episode begins with Rohit calling the hospital to discuss changing Ruhi’s nurse. As he talks, Ruhi’s fingers move, and he holds her hand, saying that the day she recovers will be the best day of his life but the worst for her. He plans to tell her a big lie and hopes she will forgive him.
Manisha and Vidya pass by Ruhi and Rohit’s room. They see Rohit crying, and Manisha stops Vidya from going inside. She says Armaan is right to let Rohit handle his emotions. Manisha also tells Vidya that she believes destiny is punishing Rohit and Ruhi for Vidya’s actions, as no mother curses her own child. She mentions that Vidya’s curse on Abhira and Armaan is causing trouble for Rohit and Ruhi now.
Vidya Tries to Make Peace
Meanwhile, Abhira is trying to calm down the baby, BSP, but he keeps crying. Armaan steps in and holds the baby, saying this is the first time he’s called the baby his own. Abhira feels like the worst mom because she can’t make the baby stop crying.
Vidya arrives and places her hand on Abhira’s head. She suggests that Abhira hold the baby close to her chest and sing a song. Abhira sings a bhajan, which calms the baby, and Ruhi moves her fingers. Vidya hugs Armaan and cries, feeling emotional.
Ruhi Wakes Up
Ruhi starts thinking about Akshara and her childhood. Rohit looks at Ruhi and expresses hope that she will recover soon. He also mentions that today is their baby’s naming ceremony. Manish and the nurse enter the room, and Rohit becomes anxious when he notices it’s the same nurse from the previous day.
Manish talks about the bhajan reminding him of Akshara. He encourages Rohit to go to the naming ceremony and offers to stay with Ruhi. The nurse wonders why they are talking about Abhira’s baby, who is supposedly dead. This makes Rohit anxious, and he quickly decides to keep the nurse away from the family to avoid revealing the truth.
He tells Manish that Armaan and Abhira will be happy if he attends the ceremony too, and they leave together. Meanwhile, at a café, a girl asks for her credit card, and Krish comes in to apologize for earlier. The boys who had bullied her the day before also apologize, and the staff explains how Krish taught them a lesson after she left. Krish and the girl talk about her accent.
Naming Ceremony and Ruhi’s Action
At the ceremony, everyone wonders where Armaan and Abhira are. Vidya brings them downstairs, and Kaveri comments that it’s good to see Vidya back to her senses. Sanjay asks Krish where he was, but Krish avoids answering and sits down for the puja. Armaan and Abhira perform the ceremony.
Abhira asks the priest if she can keep a coconut for Rohit and Ruhi’s baby, and Armaan encourages Rohit to sit for the puja, saying the baby is as much his as it is theirs.
Ruhi Regains Consciousness
Ruhi wakes up and tries to get up. She falls and breaks a glass. The nurse notices her and tries to stop her, but Ruhi insists on knowing where her baby is. She gets out of the room and starts searching for the baby.
Ruhi eventually sees the puja downstairs and, as the photographer takes a picture of Abhira and Armaan with their baby, Ruhi takes the baby from them and calls him hers. Rohit is seen crying, while Armaan wonders if Ruhi has recognized her baby.
