Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, February 9: Abhir-Charu’s Wedding Preparations Begin; Armaan-Abhira Talk About Divorce
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the preparations for Abhir and Charu’s wedding begin. Meanwhile, Kaveri gets more details about Shivani, and Armaan and Abhira have a serious discussion about their divorce.
Armaan Wants to Thank Abhira
Armaan thinks about thanking Abhira for encouraging Kajal to support Charu. Just as he is about to call her, Abhira calls him instead. Armaan tells her that everyone has agreed to Charu and Abhir’s marriage. He wants to express his gratitude, but Abhira cuts the call, saying she has another call from RK.
Meanwhile, Sanjay is upset that Kaveri agreed with Kajal’s decision about Charu’s marriage.
Kaveri’s Secret Deal with a Goon
Kaveri receives a call from a goon, who offers her more information about Shivani in exchange for more money. She agrees to the deal.
At the same time, Abhira informs RK and Shivani about Abhir’s wedding. However, Shivani’s weak memory makes RK and Abhira worried. Shivani praises Abhira for her support. RK then shares with Abhira that he used to pray for his mother, but now, he no longer wants her lost son to return.
Kaveri tells Armaan that the past always finds a way back and considers telling him about Shivani. Meanwhile, RK expresses his fear to Abhira, saying that if Shivani’s son returns, he will feel like an orphan again.
Wedding Preparations Begin
Abhira receives a call from her grandmother, who informs her that Abhir and Charu’s wedding will take place in a week. Excited, she shares the news with Roop and mentions that the wedding festivities will begin soon.
Abhira tells Roop that she will not invite him or his mother to the wedding. Roop agrees and tells her not to call them.
Armaan and Abhira’s Heated Argument
The next morning, Armaan and Abhira bump into each other during a morning walk. As they discuss the wedding, Armaan suddenly starts coughing, and when Abhira offers him water, he angrily throws away the bottle.
They get into an argument and decide that they will stay away from each other during the wedding. Armaan then declares that they will finalize their divorce right after Abhir and Charu’s wedding. Furious, Abhira says she can’t wait for that day to come.
Wedding Festivities Begin
Kajal thanks Ruhi for helping with the wedding preparations. Though Kajal feels overwhelmed, Vidya steps in and offers to help. She tells Armaan and Kaveri that she is supporting the wedding because Charu is happy.
Meanwhile, Kaveri prepares to meet the goons to get more information about Shivani. However, Armaan stops her, and she lies that she is going to the temple. When Armaan offers to drop her off, she refuses, making him suspicious.
Kaveri’s Shocking Discovery
The goon informs Kaveri that a boy had taken Shivani away from where she used to live. Shocked, Kaveri asks for more details.
The goon also reveals that he had kidnapped Abhira and Ruhi in the past. Kaveri demands more information, but the goon asks for more money in return.
Armaan notices Kaveri talking to the goon and later sees her giving him money. He watches as she warns the goon not to reveal anything to him.
