Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, January 25: Abhira Discovers RK’s Mother’s Condition; RK Apologizes to Armaan
Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Abhira visiting RK’s house. Furious, she slaps RK for sending an inappropriate gift to Armaan’s house. She confronts him, saying she never asked for alimony and that by doing this, RK has ruined the only thing she had left—her self-respect. She makes it clear that for her, relationships matter more than money.
Realizing his mistake, RK apologizes and admits he wanted to teach Armaan a lesson for being unfair to Abhira.
Charu Opens Up About Love
At the Poddar house, Charu confides in Kajal that she has fallen in love. She asks for Kajal’s support when the time comes to reveal her feelings. Kajal assures Charu that though she may have been unfair to her in the past, she will fight for Charu’s happiness this time.
Kiara and Manisha’s Chat
Meanwhile, Kiara and Manisha discuss Abhir. Manisha admits she is infatuated with him and admires his singing and looks. Kiara teases her, saying it’s love, but Manisha insists she’ll speak to the Goenkas about it.
Abhira Faces Setbacks
Back at the Poddar household, Abhir decides to share Charu’s situation with the family. Abhira returns home upset and tells everyone she has quit her job. The family grows concerned about her.
Armaan’s Dream
Later that night, Armaan dreams about Abhira. In the dream, she takes a pot holding her belongings and leaves him, saying he has shut all the doors to their relationship. Armaan wakes up in tears, realizing it was just a dream but feeling guilty about how he treated her.
RK Visits the Poddar Household
The next morning, RK arrives at the Poddar household. Mistaking Kaveri for a servant, he rudely asks her for tea and to fetch Armaan. When Kaveri recognizes him, chaos erupts. Manoj and Sanjay come out to handle the situation, and Kaveri tells everyone RK once insulted her by calling her “buddhi” (old lady). RK tries to defend himself but fails to convince anyone.
When Armaan appears, RK apologizes for his earlier behavior. He accuses Armaan of lying to ruin Abhira’s career and questions the family’s morals. RK admits the divorce is a blessing for Abhira and leaves after speaking his mind.
Armaan Feels Guilty
After RK leaves, Armaan reflects on his mistakes and feels ashamed of how he treated Abhira.
Abhira Learns About RK’s Mother
Abhira visits the hospital for B Nanu’s treatment and unexpectedly sees RK there. She decides to return his files and discovers that his mother is admitted to the hospital. She also learns that his mother is mentally unstable.
The episode ends with Abhira processing this new information.
