Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, March 22: Abhira and Armaan Agree to Surrogacy; Kaveri Grows Suspicious
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira and Armaan agree to let Ruhi be their surrogate mother. However, Kaveri suspects something is going on between Ruhi and Rohit.
Abhira and Armaan Say Yes to Surrogacy
The episode starts with Abhira returning the surrogacy papers to Ruhi and Rohit. She thanks them for their kindness and says she has made a decision. Suddenly, Armaan announces that they are ready for surrogacy. Abhira is shocked but happy.
Ruhi and Rohit admit they were worried that Abhira would say no. Abhira expresses her happiness and tells Ruhi that she is grateful for her help in making her dream of motherhood come true. Rohit suggests that they sign the contract at the temple, but the papers go missing.
Armaan takes it as a sign from God to reconsider the decision, but Rohit brushes it off and finds the papers. Abhira asks Armaan what changed his mind. Ruhi and Rohit return with the papers, and finally, everyone signs them.
Armaan Plans for the Baby’s Arrival
Armaan gets excited and starts making plans for the baby. Abhira, still surprised, asks him why he suddenly agreed to the surrogacy. He tells her that he can’t see her unhappy and knows how much she wants to be a mother. Though they are both anxious about what lies ahead, they decide to move forward.
Sanjay Gets Suspicious
At the Poddar house, Sanjay enters Rohit’s room to look for a client’s file. While searching, he notices a confidential file with the names Armaan, Abhira, Rohit, and Ruhi. Rohit quickly takes the file away and questions him. Sanjay leaves after getting his client’s file.
Later, Rohit tells Ruhi that they must be careful and not let any family members find out about their secret. Meanwhile, Sanjay tells Kaveri that he thinks Abhira and Armaan are manipulating Ruhi and Rohit for property. Kaveri dismisses him, saying she doesn’t trust him.
Kaveri Grows Suspicious of Ruhi and Rohit
Abhira calls Ruhi to tell her that their IVF appointment is scheduled for the next day. Rohit tells Ruhi that he is proud of her, and they decide to go to the doctor separately to avoid suspicion. Kaveri overhears their conversation.
The next morning, Abhira gets nervous and causes a mess in the kitchen. Shivani asks why she is in such a hurry. Armaan covers up, saying they are going to buy a new car for the business. Shivani tells Abhira to get ready.
Meanwhile, Ruhi is about to leave for the doctor when Kaveri stops her and insists she attend an event. While traveling, Kaveri questions Ruhi about her connection with Armaan and Abhira. Ruhi lies, saying she is not in touch with them.
Ruhi Rushes to the Hospital
Abhira, Armaan, and Rohit start worrying as Ruhi is running late. The doctor tells them to hurry up. Meanwhile, Ruhi gets a call from Abhira but pretends to talk to a friend in front of Kaveri. She lies to Kaveri, saying she has to go to the hospital because her friend had an accident. She quickly leaves in an auto and reaches the hospital just in time for the procedure.
Abhira Seeks Anupamaa’s Advice
Feeling anxious, Abhira calls Anupamaa and shares everything. Anupamaa advises her to stay positive. Meanwhile, Swarna and Manish arrive at the same hospital for their own medical tests.
