In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, a shocking truth about Armaan’s past is revealed. Vidya admits that she deliberately kept Armaan away from Shivani, while Kaveri drops a huge secret about Armaan’s childhood.
Abhira Uncovers the Truth
Abhira tells Shivani that she and Armaan will take her to Haridwar, but Shivani refuses and says she wants to go with the workers. Suspicious, Abhira insists that Shivani should tell the truth. When the workers remain silent, she threatens to take legal action against them.
Feeling pressured, the workers confess everything. They reveal that Vidya had called them to take Shivani to the ashram in Haridwar. They also admit that Vidya and Kaveri had been paying them for years to keep Shivani there.
Armaan Is Shocked by Vidya’s Betrayal
This revelation shocks everyone. Abhira questions Vidya for keeping this secret and hiding Kaveri’s involvement. Armaan is stunned when he realizes that Abhira already knew Kaveri had been secretly sending money to the ashram. When he confronts her, Abhira admits that she kept the truth hidden to protect the family.

She admits that she was afraid of losing Madhav. So, when Armaan was born, she wanted to separate Madhav and Shivani. Then, a tragic accident happened. Armaan, Shivani, and Madhav were in an accident, and Kaveri sent Shivani to a different hospital.
What’s more shocking is that Kaveri sent baby Armaan to an orphanage after the accident. When Madhav regained consciousness, she lied to him, saying that Shivani and Armaan had died in the accident. She also lied to Shivani, making her believe that Madhav and Armaan had passed away.
The Truth About Vidya and Armaan
After some time, Kaveri convinced Madhav to marry Vidya. Later, when Madhav found out that Armaan was alive, he was afraid that Vidya wouldn’t accept him.
Kaveri then told Vidya about Shivani being alive. However, Vidya chose to accept Armaan, hoping to win Madhav’s love. Kaveri praises Vidya, calling her a true mother to Armaan. She asks Armaan not to doubt Vidya’s love, as she dedicated her whole life to raising him.
However, Armaan refuses to believe Vidya. He reminds her that he was even ready to sacrifice his relationship with Abhira because of her. The episode ends on this emotional note, leaving everyone stunned.
