Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, September 11: Manish Defends Abhira Against the Poddar Family; Roohi’s Reaction
In the September 11 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Manish realizes he was just dreaming about revealing the truth that Abhira is his great-granddaughter. In real life, he decides not to tell anyone.
When Sanjay questions why Manish is doing so much for Abhira, Manish responds that he considers her as his great-granddaughter. Sanjay taunts Abhira, saying she is receiving everything as a favor. This angers Manish, who lashes out at Sanjay, calling him a beggar who has been taking from the Poddar family. He declares that Abhira has every right to the Goenka family.
Kaveri, upset by Manish’s words, defends Sanjay and even calls Abhira an orphan. Manish warns Kaveri to watch her words, leading to a heated argument. Kaveri questions why Manish is spending his money on Abhira when his house is still under mortgage. Manish tells her not to worry about his finances and demands that Sanjay stop mistreating Abhira.
Kaveri accuses Manish of hiding something, as he has been suddenly very supportive of Abhira. Manish explains that he’s attending the function simply because Abhira asked him to. Roohi overhears this and feels hurt seeing how much attention Manish is giving to Abhira.
Later, Roohi tries to throw away an envelope that Manish gave her, but Armaan’s chachi stops her. She explains to Roohi that Manish considers Abhira like his great-granddaughter, so Roohi should think of Abhira as her sister. Upset, Roohi burns the envelope and argues with Armaan’s chachi, accusing her of stealing Armaan’s engagement ring. Chachi tells Roohi that she can’t prove it, but also teases Roohi, saying that she no longer needs to praise Abhira since Manish is already doing that.
Manish reassures Abhira that she shouldn’t worry about what others think of their relationship. He tells her he has loved her like a daughter from the moment he met her. Abhira shares that she feels a strong connection with Manish, which is why she considers herself his great-granddaughter.
Meanwhile, Armaan feels torn between Abhira and his family. He confides in Rohit, expressing frustration at how supporting Abhira upsets his family. Rohit comforts him, assuring him that he will overcome all challenges as long as Abhira is by his side.
Roohi then taunts Abhira, accusing her of making Manish do everything she wants, which leaves Roohi feeling even more upset.
