Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, March 29: Kaveri Refuses to Accept the Baby After Learning the Surrogacy Truth
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan, Abhira, Rohit, and Roohi decide to reveal the surrogacy truth to the family.
Armaan Insists on Telling the Truth
Armaan wants to be honest with everyone, but Roohi and Rohit disagree. They try to stop him, but Armaan explains that hiding the truth will only cause more stress for Roohi and the baby. He also reminds them that they are deceiving the family by pretending Abhira is pregnant.
Despite Roohi and Rohit’s protests, Armaan stays firm and insists they should confess everything. Abhira agrees with him. Rohit then asks when they should tell the family, and Armaan suggests doing it the next morning.
Sanjay Discovers the Truth
Meanwhile, Sanjay visits the hospital and bribes a peon to get Roohi’s medical file. After reading it, he finds out that Roohi is actually the surrogate mother.
The next day, Armaan gathers all the family members to share the news. However, before Abhira can say anything, Sanjay exposes the truth. The whole family is left shocked to learn that Abhira is not pregnant and that Roohi is carrying Armaan and Abhira’s baby.
Kaveri’s Harsh Reaction
Sanjay blames Armaan and Abhira for lying, but they defend themselves. Roohi supports them, reminding Kaveri that Armaan had lied to her about Daksh being Abhira’s son.
However, Kaveri gets furious at Armaan for manipulating Roohi and Rohit’s emotions. When Rohit explains that they willingly did this for Abhira and Armaan, Kaveri refuses to accept their reasoning. She then asks Armaan a shocking question—what if Roohi’s life is in danger while giving birth to his baby? Who will he choose?
Despite Rohit and Roohi supporting Abhira and Armaan, Kaveri refuses to accept the child and walks away in anger. This leaves Abhira heartbroken. One by one, the rest of the family also leaves, upset by the situation.
Abhira Regrets Her Decision
Abhira feels overwhelmed as she watches the family turn away from them. She recalls how Armaan was against surrogacy at first, but she convinced him. Now, seeing everyone angry, she starts regretting her decision. Armaan comforts her as she breaks down.
The Family’s Discussion
Manav suggests that the family should support Armaan, Abhira, Roohi, and Rohit, but Kaveri strongly disagrees. She warns that this decision will create more problems in the future, especially since Roohi and Armaan had a past relationship.
Manish also worries about how this surrogacy will affect Roohi and Abhira’s relationship. Swarna points out that Abhira and Armaan have put their own marriage at risk with this decision.
Kaveri’s Warning
Kaveri strictly orders everyone to keep the surrogacy a secret from outsiders. Meanwhile, Charu and the kids feel frustrated, seeing how the adults are not supporting Abhira and Roohi.
Kiara taunts Charu, saying that everyone has moved on in life, leaving Charu irritated. However, Rohit and Roohi feel happy that the kids are on their side.
