Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, March 21: Ruhi Offers to be Surrogate Mother for Armaan and Abhira’s Baby
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan and Abhira are left shocked when Ruhi makes a big announcement—she is ready to be the surrogate mother for their child!
Ruhi’s Surprising Offer
The episode starts with Ruhi telling Armaan and Abhira that they are a wonderful couple who deserve to have their own child. To their surprise, she offers to carry their baby as a surrogate mother.
Ruhi admits that, despite her fights with Abhira, she considers her family and would do anything for her loved ones. She also says this is her way of repaying Abhira for taking care of Daksh.
Armaan’s Hesitation
Armaan is worried and tells Ruhi that surrogacy is a big responsibility—both physically and emotionally. He says that things have finally settled down for everyone, including Ruhi, Rohit, himself, and Abhira, so he doesn’t want to create more complications.

Abhir and Kiara’s Relationship Tension
Meanwhile, at home, Surekha and Swarna throw water on Abhir to wake him up. They scold him for being distant from Kiara and insist that he take her out. But Abhir, frustrated, says he is tired of pretending to be her husband. However, Swarna and Surekha warn him that no one in the family will support him if he refuses to stay with Kiara.
Later, at a café, Abhir tells Kiara to stop acting like his biggest fan and walks away. As he leaves, he bumps into Charu. During their conversation, Charu gets emotional and confesses that she still loves him. Hearing this, Abhir promises to make things right.
Abhira’s Big Decision at the Temple
The next morning, Abhira goes to the temple alone, holding the surrogacy contract. When Rohit and Ruhi see her there, they are shocked.
